Ingredients:
1 eggplant, thinly sliced
2 cups of Tomato sauce
1 onion, diced
3 Garlic cloves, chopped
1 lb of Extra lean Ground Beef
1-2 cups of Mozzarella cheese, shredded
¼ cup of Fresh basil
1 tbsp of Healthy U Italian Spice
Alternative to Healthy U Italian Spice
2 tbsp dried basil
2 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp dried rosemary
2 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dried thyme
1 tbsp red chili flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt & black pepper
Instructions:
Saute onions on medium heat, adding spice with Extra lean Ground Beef, cutting up the meat. Add some basil onto with a scoop of tomato sauce
Add thinly sliced eggplants on top of the ground beef, with cheese and extra sauce. Repeat this 1 more time, with the final layer being sauce, cheese and basil.
Bake at 425 F for 45-55 minutes
