Ingredients
1 cup green lentils + 3 cups broth
1 ½ cups marinara sauce
2-3 cups strained tomatoes
3 garlic cloves, thinly slices
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp Healthy U Italian Spice
Alternative to Healthy U Italian Spice
2 tbsp dried basil
2 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp dried rosemary
2 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dried thyme
1 tbsp red chili flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt & black pepper
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
In a pot oven medium heat, add green lentil and broth. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30-35 minutes.
Remove from heat and add marinara sauce, strained tomatoes, Healthy U Italian spice, garlic, oil and parmesan cheese.
Add back to heat for another 5-8 minutes.
Serve with your favourite pasta!
