Ingredients
Dough:
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup almond flour
1 egg
Toppings:
Tomato sauce
Basil garlic mixture (1/4 cup chopped basil, 3 minced garlic cloves, 3 tbsp EVOO, 1/2 tsp salt)
Mozzarella cheese
Directions
Microwave 1 cup mozzarella cheese with 1 cup almond flour for 60-90 seconds. Once complete add 1 egg and combine well to form a dough.
Place dough between two pieces of parchment paper and roll out with a rolling pin.
Spread a layer of tomato sauce onto the dough and top with a layer of basil-garlic mixture.
Roll the dough and cut down the middle. Cross both pieces and twist to form a braid.
Top with extra mozzarella and basil-garlic mixture.
Bake at 400F for 14 to 18 minutes (broil for the last 30 seconds for a crispy experience)!
