At Healthy U, we believe in an approach that includes making small changes to your lifestyle routine to achieve long term successes. We recognize that there is no one size fits all approach, and instead we work with our clients using a flexible range of services that best fit the needs, goals and preferences of our clients.

Introductory Phone Call:
Duration: FREE 15 min phone call
Prior to booking your initial assessment, book in for a complimentary 15-minute phone call with our Registered Dietitian to ask any questions about Healthy U and our approach. Learn about our services and allow our RD to learn about you and your goals and share her vision for how she will empower you to meet them if you are to move forward in partnership with our team.
Duration: $150 1 hour virtual appointment
We will learn more about you, your health goals, and how we can best serve you through our services. In collaboration with our dietitian, you will complete an in-depth nutrition assessment, and learn more about the past, current and future nutrition behaviours/goals. This assessment will be used to develop a tailored nutrition care plan including goal tracking charts, recipes, menus, grocery lists and nutrition information handouts.
Duration: $75 – $125, 30 – 45 min virtual appointments
Following your initial assessment, book in for virtual follow-up visits to review your progress in detail with our Registered Dietitian, problem solve to overcome challenges, and build on the nutrition goals that are working for you. Follow-ups may include mini meal plan assessments in which small tweaks are made, new recipe ideas and grocery lists based on your preferences and nutrition goals, and continued development of a tailored care plan to support your progress between visits. Follow-up sessions are recommended every 2-3 weeks for ongoing education, accountability and support.
Duration: $50 short 20 min check in
For those needing more frequent and quick visits, book in for virtual mini coaching visits to check-in with our Registered Dietitian and boost motivation between visits. These coaching sessions are offered to maintain accountability to health behaviour changes and ensure you stay on track. Coaching visits include a brief review of goals, a review of your progress to date, a celebration of your successes and continued support to overcome obstacles and reach your nutrition and health goals.
Duration: $75 1 hour virtual interactive class
If you’re looking to improve your kitchen skills while remaining true to your lifestyle changes, book in for a virtual one-on-one cooking class with our Registered Dietitian, Alissa. Alissa is skilled at preparing recipes for every lifestyle and occasion, equipped with the nutrition expertise to add a healthy spin to your favourite recipes. Prior to your class, recipes can be submitted to Alissa via email allowing her to adapt the ingredients and preparation methods to ensure they are suited to your nutritional needs and goals. Budget friendly, nutrient packed recipe ideas can also be provided by our team for your kitchen inspiration. Groceries are not included in the purchase of this cooking class. An ingredient list will be provided to you a week in advance to purchase in time for the class.
